The Bouleau Blanc kennel is a small, family-run business. We breed high-quality dogs from European champion bloodlines. I choose to work only with breeders who adhere to the standards of the Verening De Netherland Schapendoes Club. This club follows a rigorous code of ethics that has protected the breed for decades. My love and passion for the breed motivate me to follow in the footsteps of the Dutch club. All dogs in my kennel must meet the breed standard in terms of temperament and be in good health.

After several years of breeding, I've chosen to place several of my dogs with foster families. This approach offers my dogs a life in a family environment. This method allows me to continue improving my breeding program and diversifying my pairings by introducing new bloodlines that keep the breed healthy. The Schapendoes doesn't deserve to live in a kennel. It's a family dog that loves daily interaction with humans.

I breed a maximum of twice a year. I have two dogs at home who are my life partners. My other dogs live in foster homes with long-time friends. My foster families are fantastic and share my love for the breed. Each foster dog visits me regularly to ensure a good relationship with their extended family. This approach allows me to ensure that each dog has an exceptionally stimulating life and an optimal environment in which they can grow and have fun every day, throughout their entire life.
